Parkland WISH Clinic

Our Diversified Electrical Solutions and Construction Solutions divisions were pleased to be able to deliver commercial power and complex switchgear components for the Parkland WISH Clinic. This project included switchgears, network bridges, controllers, digital switches, and much more. Below are just a few of the project highlights.

The 135,000-square-foot Women & Infants Specialty Health (WISH) Clinic opened on the new Parkland Campus in Dallas on August 23, 2015. The new healthcare facility serves Dallas County patients as part of the Parkland Health & Hospital System with a direct connection to the new hospital as well as its own entrance to increase patient privacy.

DES served as the electrical subcontractor responsible for setting the switch system. Setting the switchgear was extremely difficult because of the need to transfer the equipment through a confined space. The equipment was craned-in, and all logistics were handled by DES.
