Methodist Dallas Trauma & Critical Care

Our Alpha & Omega Industries Construction Solutions Division was able to dive into a commercial construction project for the new Trauma and Critical Care Tower at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. We were able to complete interior finish-out and other key construction tasks, including tile walls and flooring, concrete seal and polish, millwork, and much more. Below are just a few of the project highlights.

The new Trauma and Critical Care Tower at Methodist Dallas Medical Center consisted of a 248,000-square-foot, six-story building expansion and renovation project. The primary functions of the new expansion include Emergency, Surgery, Central Sterile, and Critical Care along with a dedicated Central Energy Plant installation.

The structure was designed to accommodate a future six-story vertical expansion of the tower footprint for additional Critical Care or Medical/Surgical patient beds. The building expansion serves as the new 24-hour entry to the hospital and provides a beacon for the south side of the campus.
