DFW Airport, Terminal D UPS

Our Diversified Electrical Solutions Division was pleased to be able to deliver commercial power and critical electrical components for the DFW International Airport - Terminal D, including power delivery, jet bridges, UPS, and much more. Below are just a few of the project highlights.

Our team completed UPS replacement to conform to current aviation standards and ensure on-going power supply for terminal operations. AO-DES scope included removing 65 existing UPS devices within Terminal D and installing an APC external maintenance bypass switch between each main power panel and the UPS load panel.

Construction activity occurred inside the Airport’s Air Operations Area (AOA) and required compliance with Customs and Border Patrol Zone, an additional background check, and a DFW escort.
